Public beach access to Kuilima Cove (short walk) and Kawela Bay (short drive), both offer a great option for swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing and letting the stress wash away. During the winter months (Nov-Feb), seven miles of North Shore beaches host a variety of surfing competitions with waves getting as big as 30 feet high or bigger.
